Today I stopped by my bank and opened a new account that I will use for my project. I will write a message with a description of my project and request for a donation to this account. I won't matter how much, just a small donation will do!

Tösabidarna girlie skatecamp 2011

Just got home after a crazy skate weekend. Pretty much skated all the time since Thursday afternoon. There is always such a good vibe on this cam and you really feel at home. That is one of the best things about skateboarding, you don't depend on another person to do their work but there are always someone there to cheer you on, help and push you to do your best.

During this camp there was two competitions arranged; one in bowl and one in street. Almost all of the 40(!) girls that participated in the camp signed up and we all had a blast. You always push yourself a little bit harder during a competition so it is really fun to watch and to compete.

Since my camera broke down and I skated as much as I did I wasn't able to take photos or get any video footage but there were several photographers and one of the girls hurt her foot so she spent the entire weekend behind the camera so I will get some material from them and post it on the blog later.

Girl Skate Camp- Malmö!

Next weekend it is time for Bryggeriet to arrange their fifth girl skate camp. It is the third time for me and I'm super excited since I always have a really good time! Just a bunch of skater girls from all over Sweden that get together for a weekend full of skate, good food and hang out!

I will bring my camera and try to get some footage for the movie and some photos for the blog.

re: VANS!

Last night I got a reply from VANS. They said that if I wanted a sponsorship/dornation from them I had to write a letter and send to them and it had to contain a certai information. I would be contacted by them if they decided to sponsor me. I will start working on that later this week and see how it goes.

Just wrapping up an e-mail to Vans were I ask them to sponsor me with some shoes! Vans is one of my favourite brands so it would be really awesome to get sponsored by them!

Keeping my fingers crossed and wait for an answer!

Design

Have just started working with some basics on the design. Nothing fancy at all but at least there is something more then justa blue text against a white background. I will try and work on it a bit more later on, but as for now, I really want to put my energy into other things!

Another sponsor and Nairobi

Found out today that MAXI agreed to sposnsor us! That is all I know for know and I'll probably found out what, when and how tomorrow, but I'm happy about it nonetheless.

We have also decided to go to Nairobi for a few days. We will go by train (Mombasa Express). It is a 14 hour trip one way and it is only 440 km, but it is cheap and it's also one of the most famous train rides. You get to see almost all of Kenya so I'm really excited about that. I am also keeping contact with some skaters that live in Nairobi so I'll probably get to skate with them and show up skateboarding and GIRL skateboarding aswell.

Maxi, ÖB and Willys

Today we went by Maxi and ÖB again after getting there just after the store managers had gone home. So today we gave it another try and we started of with Maxi. He sounded very positive about sponsoring us and promised he would contact us at midday tomorrow at the latest. But both ÖB and Willys said they didn't do any sponsoring at all and said they couldn't help us. We are still waiting to hear from Hemmakväll but when we stopped by yesterday she said she haven't had any time to look into it, but that she will do it soon!
